As I type this, thunder clouds are rolling in, swapping out our busy sunshine days for a bit of blustery, stay at home under the covers sort of day.
I am liking this weather shift. It is in tune with my mood. Mellow, introspective, and content with the simple things in life. At this moment those include a good book, a mug of tea and my girl snuggled up against me watching Super Why.
Later we will enjoy a lazy dinner at home, a glass of wine, and a quick catch up on the latest episode of House Hunters International and Alcatraz.
We have been busy these past few weeks... good busy. But it is nice to have a little mid-week time-out before the next round of fun busy starts up this weekend.
