Barefoot by Elin Hilderbrand
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Nantucket. Three friends trying to escape their everyday lives. Writing that is easy to read and not too intense. An interesting cover to suck you in. Yep, we have the makings of a good beach read.
And that is exactly what this book is. A great beach read and exactly what I was looking to read to kick off the summer reading season.
The characters are likeable and the story flows well. It wasn't choppy and the author moved between storylines very well. Now will this book have you thinking about a year from now? No, but that is okay when it comes to light beach reads. The point is to enjoy the book in the moment.
