My Type A skills shine through with this little quirk. But honestly, planning a weekly menu just makes sense. There is no more 5 o' clock scramble to figure out what you can make out of half a carrot, leftover hamburger meat and a banana. We eat a lot more healthy. And on top of that, we save money because there are less trips to get takeout and we waste a lot less food.
So here is what we are planning for this week.
- Monday: Garlic trout and Parmesan leek quinoa
- Tuesday: Grilled pizzas with tomatoes, roasted red peppers, and basil
- Wednesday: Meatloaf and roasted acorn squash
- Thursday: leftovers
- Friday: Black beans and rice
