Summer To Do List: make a tomato pie

I have always wanted to make a tomato pie.  And this summer, the garden is doing so well that we will soon be swimming in heirloom tomatoes.  So tomato pie goes on the list as something new to try.  I will let you know how it goes.
I am going to attempt this recipe from Home Ec 101.  The blog post is called "Tomato Pie: Smack Your Granny Good."  With a title like that I have to try it!
