Quirky is good

So how quirky are you?  In my experience, people fall into one of two categories... those that try to hide their quirks and those that choose to embrace them.  I would like to think that I fall into that last category.

Here are a few of my quirks:
  • I don't like honey.
  • I love frosting, but not cake.
  • I have a weird fear of sidewalk grates... alligators live down there.
  • I don't know how to whistle.
  • I like to rip out all the ads out of magazines... except for the ones I like.
  • I like to eat bananas when they are still a little green.
  • Not a big fan of surprises.
  • I laugh really loud.
  • I love the smell of books.
  • I have to sleep with the sheets tucked in on the sides.
  • Feet gross me out... ugh!
Okay, so spill it... what are your's?

  1. Okay...after some personal reflection, here goes!

    - I am overly critical of myself.
    - I have a crazy fear of spiders & think they are out to get me.
    - I don't like soda - at all.
    - Cooking stresses me out & I typically make a huge mess.
    - I am a freak out about germs in public restrooms when taking my girls potty - "Don't touch anything!" "Keep your hands together!" "Wait! Let mommy help!"
    - I can only dance in the safety of my own home.
    - The story of the Titanic facinates me.
    - Sometimes I like to pray in the shower.
    - If I'm grouchy that usually means I need a hug...& maybe a glass of wine...
    - I am very OCD.
    - I can be very indecisive when shopping.

  2. My favorite Colleen quirk (circa 1998):
Leaving your cup 'o tea in the microwave! Always made me smile to open the microwave and find a cold, lonely mug of water waiting to be retrieved.

    Misty quirks:
    - Constantly leaving my shoes in the living room.
    - Overusing of the word "silly".
    - Refusing to listen to voice mail.
    - Procrastinating. I procrastinate on my plans to procrastinate.
    - And... I could exclusively eat potatoes for the rest of my life, as long as I could still cook for everybody else.

We are friends, right? So drop me a line and tell me what is on your mind? There is nothing like a good conversation in the middle of the day to make me smile. And you do make me smile.
